Space is still available for the “Sculpture with Jake” class!

In this class, students work for 6 weeks on a ceramic portrait or self-portrait. The process begins by finding reference material. The pieces themselves will be constructed from solid clay and hollowed before firing. Considerable time will be given to discussion, demonstration, and construction of the details of the piece — facial features, proportions, approaches to hair. Towards the end of the session components such as hands or small ceramic pedestal can be added, and glazing suggestions will be given.

Have you heard of our Take a Spin class?

Try our new mini pottery wheel workshop for beginners...great for couples, friends, or small groups.

Enjoy a small group lesson on the pottery wheel with step-by-step instruction. Each person makes 2 pieces in two hours, guaranteed. Course includes the 2-hour guided lesson, use of studio tools and clay, choice of 15 glaze colors, and firing for 2 pieces.

Socially-distanced seating for 6 max. Each student gets their own wheel. Instructor pre-centers your clay. Items are fired, finished, and ready for pickup within 3-4 weeks. Minimum age for the pottery wheel is 12.
