Skill: Intermediate

Join Chris Ostrom for a 6-week workshop-style class that will boost your wheel-throwing skills and help you make stronger cylinders.  Create larger vessels by stacking and combining pieces. We’ll also explore reduction-fired Shino glazes for finished work. Projects to be jointly determined by students and the instructor. Bring ideas to the 1st day of class! Chris is a multi-talented potter, painter, and tool-maker — he loves to share his methods and attention to detail!

Wednesdays, 7 – 10pm, Oct 28 to Dec 9

Class includes one scheduled 3-hour class per week and open studio time. Clay sold separately. Enjoy gorgeous food-safe glazes and consistent firings in our Bailey gas kilns.
