Higher Fire owner, Dan Dermer, teaches a 6-week workshop-style class on vessels for drinking & serving: tea bowls, tumblers, sake set, side-dish server, pitchers, teapots, flasks, and more. Explore textured surfaces with soda & shino slips while building your skills in making matching sets, raising better cylinders, adding more refined handles. In weeks 5-6, students also participate in a soda-firing. Students should have 6+ months experience making pottery on the wheel.
