Tuesday PM Wheel Projects with Joey
PUT A LID ON IT! This fall, Joey Agcopra presents all things lidded and covered! Students learn to make all kinds of wheel-thrown pottery with different lid styles, including casserole dishes, jars, teapots, and even a fermentation jar for pickling. Each week, Joey will demonstrate a new project and show finishing techniques (trimming, altering, handles, etc…) for those items. Glazing strategies & support for individual projects is also offered by the instructor.
Tuesdays, 7pm – 10pm, Oct 27 to Dec 8
Enjoy one scheduled 3-hour class per week, choose from a variety of clays (sold separately), 30 gorgeous food-safe glazes, and consistent firings. Socially-distanced seating for 10 students. No classes are held the week of Thanksgiving; late fall classes include 6 lessons spread over 7 weeks.
