NEW! This fall, Jamie will introduce you to Nerikomi, including how to color your clay, creating canes or pattern blocks, and repeating them to create intricate patterns. Nerikomi projects include hump mold bowls/plates and mugs. Robin will guide you in an exploration of different styles of weaving clay, using your favorites to create a basket, and designing a free-form upright basket. If we have time, we can even incorporate colored clay into our basket weaving! Glazing & finishing strategies to showcase you colored clay creations will also be discussed.

Tuesdays, 10am – 1pm, Oct 27 to Dec 8

Enjoy one scheduled 3-hour class per week, open studio time, a variety of clays (sold separately), 30+ gorgeous food-safe glazes, and consistent firings in our Bailey gas kilns. No classes are held the week of Thanksgiving; this class includes 6 lessons spread over 7 weeks.

Ticket price includes $20 materials fee for a selection of mason stains and other items purchased for this class.
