Beginners welcome! Instructor Denise Soultanian brings you 4-5 cool hand-building projects in this new 6-week class! Have a blast learning to create hand-built pottery in a variety of forms, textures and styles — all with step-by-step instruction. Projects include animal-shaped pots, little incense houses, a Stephen Biggerstaff inspired bowl, wall-piece with window & shutters, and small figures (gnomes & more). Each week, students explore new forms, construction techniques, and decorative texture embellishments. Glazing strategies & support are offered on week #6 (and throughout).

Enjoy one scheduled 3-hour class per week and open studio time outside of class; choose from a variety of clays (sold separately), 30+ gorgeous food-safe glazes, and consistent firings.
