Moon Do Bang, master potter & Instagram sensation, makes his first visit to the U.S. and teaches a one day hands-on workshop at Higher Fire.

Moon shares his methodology & techniques for throwing cylinders, bowls, large Moon jars, and several signature forms. He also shows how to facet & alter surfaces for endless geometric possibilities!

Moon owns and operates MoonDoBang, located in Yeoju, South Korea. He is a hard-working, prolific ceramic artist who claims he is “most comfortable behind the pottery wheel”, and loves sharing his work with others. Moon’s workshop at Higher Fire will be translated to English by Miki Shim.

Stoneware clay will be offered for ease of use and availability. A pottery wheel will be available for each participant.

COST: $249 / $199 (members) Wednesday, March 29, 10am – 5pm. Includes 25lbs practice clay, breakfast/coffee/tea.
