Join us for a special 2-hour workshop with guest artist Atsuko Sugino on Saturday, May 10, 2pm-4pm.

In this session, Atsuko guides participants in creating a hand-built tray with pinch pot bowls—all taught in Japanese.

5月10日、午後2時pmから4時pmまでの2時間のワークショップで、ゲストアーティスト 杉野淳子さん と一緒に、大長皿と2枚の小皿 を手びねりで制作してみませんか。クラスは日本語で行われます。

What You’ll Learn / 学べること

✔ Hand-building techniques for functional pottery (実用的な陶芸の手びねり技法)
✔ Crafting a serving dish and matching bowls (大長皿と小皿2枚の制作)
✔ Traditional Japanese ceramic approaches (日本の伝統的な陶芸のアプローチ)

Tuition includes stoneware clay, choice of 8 glaze colors, and firing.
