Skill: Advanced Beginner

Take your throwing skills to the next level! Shehryar challenges you each week with throwing exercises using studio clay. Learn to handle more clay while exploring a repertoire of classic, wheel-thrown vessels. Projects may include larger plate or platter, tall & expanded cylinders for pitchers & vases, lidded or narrow-neck forms, mugs, and textured surfaces for vase or jar. Bring ideas to class! Trimming, finishing, and glazing strategies are also be presented.

Fridays, 7-10pm, Oct 30 to Dec 11

Includes open studio time outside of class. Clay sold separately. Enjoy 30+ gorgeous food-safe glazes and consistent firings in our Bailey gas kilns. No classes are held the weekend of Thanksgiving; this class includes 6 lessons spread over 7 weeks.
