All private events and team-building workshops happen at this location, along with the majority of our beginning pottery wheel classes. Natural light fills our downtown clay-making space, nestled in a neighborhood that’s bustling with activity! The SoFA District offers many dining options, places to grab a coffee, and frequent artistic happenings.

The studio is near several downtown lots and garages. Your first 90 minutes are free, then regular rates apply. There is also plentiful, metered parking. Interactive SJ Downtown Parking Map

Note: Please do not park in the lot next to our studio – it belongs to our neighbors. Be mindful of signage regarding neighborhood permit requirements.

JTown Clay • 520 N 7th St, San José

Our new membership-based studio in Japantown is spacious, well-equipped, and features a beautiful garden area, too. Here we offer many intermediate level ceramics classes, and host visiting-artist workshops. Members love the proximity to Japantown’s restaurants and shops — an easy walk from the clay studio.

JTown Clay has its own parking lot as well as plenty of non-metered street parking nearby.
