Try our new mini pottery wheel workshop for beginners…great for couples, friends, or small groups.

Enjoy a small group lesson on the pottery wheel with step-by-step instruction. Each person makes 2 pieces in two hours, guaranteed. Course includes the 2-hour guided lesson, use of studio tools and clay, choice of 15 glaze colors, and firing for 2 pieces.

Socially-distanced seating for 6 max. Each student gets their own wheel. Instructor pre-centers your clay. Items are fired, finished, and ready for pickup within 3-4 weeks. Minimum age for the pottery wheel is 12.

For beginners ready to experience the thrills and spills of working on the potter’s wheel, this course introduces the basics of throwing, trimming, attachments, and glazing. Students typically make 10-12 items – all food-safe, non-toxic, microwave and dishwasher safe! Your six-week course includes one 3-hour class per week, your own tool kit, clay, and glazes. We take care of the firing!

Classes are limited to 10 students. Make-ups for missed classes are flexible and available on alternative Just Try It class days with notification. Make-ups are the responsibility of the student and must be completed within the 6-week timeframe. There are no refunds once class begins.
